What causes flying phobia?
If you have a phobia of flying, you are probably wondering how you developed it.
Phobias and fears intensify after a bad experience; they are created as a result of an intense fear. Most often, phobias develop in childhood, but there are also different cases.
It is quite possible that there was a family history of phobia or fear of flying. The pattern can easily be passed on. Or maybe you had a bad experience on a plane trip that left you petrified or panicking.
The case itself is almost unimportant, the only thing that matters is that the case scared you and your fear center was activated. In this heightened emotional state, your subconscious made a mental note of this.
This means that every time your subconscious perceives a threat or sense of danger, the amygdala creates the panic in your brain over and over again.
The amygdala is the part of the brain that responds to your fears and turns on the “Fight or Flight” mode. So, every single time you are exposed to your fears, your brain wants to switch to one of these modes and react to your fear.
How to remove your phobia of flying?
